Welcome to TalkBoards.net, the next generation of free remotely hosted message board communities. The founders and employees of TalkBoards.net take your privacy very seriously. We will always work towards this policy during our day-to-day work.

To be a member at a TalkBoards.net message board or own your own Message Board you must be aged 18 years or more, or a minor (13 years +) with permission from a parent / guardian for legal reasons. If a user is reported to be underage to us we will research on information available and if we find that they are under 13 years we will delete their account / message board.

We collect personal information, such as your name and email address, when you register to become a member of a TalkBoards.net message board. This information is used when you set up your own forum and also when you register at another. As part of your personal profile, you may choose to submit additional information such as your age, location, interests and other content, such as photos, blog diary, etc. Please note that at anytime you may cancel your membership at any TalkBoards.net message board and be safe in the knowledge that all information submitted to your profile will be removed, however posts and IP addresses will still be stored and visible to board staff with the appropriate powers.

TalkBoards.net receives and stores information which is transmitted automatically from your computer when you browse the Internet and use TalkBoards.net. This information is stored on our servers but is not used for third party use, it includes cookie information and your operating system and browser type.
When posting a message to a forum hosted by us, the user's IP address is automatically logged against the post. The administrator of the forum you are posting in has the option to have IP addresses shown to certain member groups.
You must ensure that you have a strong password and change it frequently to reduce the risk of someone breaking into your forum account.

TalkBoards.net provides this free message board hosting service for free provided that all advertisements are shown in their correct places and that's the user doesn't have advertisements that generate revenue without the purchase of ad-free. TalkBoards.net reserves the right to delete any message board not complying with these regulations without warning.

Please remember that through the use of your TalkBoards.net message board all data that you submit is viewable to anyone on the internet so we advice that you take security precautions. Our software is built to help with security of information so use it wisely where needed. Please note that many external links will be posted on TalkBoards.net message boards, all content / results of clicking these links are at the user's own risk and are at the forum administrators responsibility to control bad links and general content being posted.

All advertisement unit spaces on our message boards are sold to Google, therefore TalkBoards.net has no control over the advertisements that are shown, if you feel that any of the ads are inappropriate we advise you contact Google about this via the "in ads" link. Alternatively you may purchase ad-free to entirely remove advertisements from showing up on your board for a small fee each month.

TalkBoards.net takes no responsibility for any content posted on any of their hosted message boards, opinions raised may not be that of TalkBoards.net. In the event of legal action being taken TalkBoards.net will not be liable for any involvement due to a violation on our service, our primary concern is that the forum meets our terms of service requirements and to remove those that don't.

TalkBoards.net staff reserve the right to use / monitor any information stored on their servers without reason, this may be done without the forum owner / person in question's permission since all data is considered the property of TalkBoards.net, they also reserve the right to remove any content that fails to meet their terms of service, this can also mean the deletion of the entire board.
